Job Description

The Sales/marking Marketing Liasion is a Sales/ Business Development based position that is primarily responsible for generating admission in a designated territory. The Sales responsibilities are specific to either Home Care or Hospice service lines. Patient Care Coordinators actively call on targeted accounts to promote the Great Lakes Caring service lines to generate referrals. Additionally, once a referral is secured, the PCC actively partners with Clinical Operations to convert the referral to an admission as necessary. Key accounts include Hospitals, Physicians, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. This position interfaces with a wide range of medical professionals as well as patients and families of patients on a daily basis to drive business results.


EDUCATION: 4 year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of successful Medical Sales experience

SKILLS: Requires proven leadership, strong interpersonal communication, self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as with teams. Demonstrates a high confidence level to interact with health care professionals at all levels. Competitive mindset to meet and exceed business objectives. Exceeds expectations and requirements of external customers. Skilled in conflict resolution.

TRANSPORTATION: Reliable transportation.

HEALTH STATUS: Meets all applicable agency policies and procedures related to health

screening and required testing.

Physical Demands

1. Complete required work on a daily basis.

2. Cope with work involving ill, disabled, and dying patients.

3. Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently. Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.

4. Move equipment and supplies necessary for job functions.

5. Read in a 12 point or larger type, speak and write English in order to fulfill job functions in an understandable way.

6. See/hear or use prosthetics that enable accomplishment of job.

7. Meet the health requirements of the agency.

8. Possible exposure to infectious diseases.

9. Abide by all occupational safety and bloodborne pathogen protocol to minimize illness and/or injury.
