Hospice Volunteer Coordinator

What you’ll do…..

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of hospice volunteers both in patient care and non-patient care settings.
  • Select and assign volunteers and coordinate volunteer requests with input from the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Keep accurate documentation on volunteers, volunteer assignments and documentation of hours served.
  • Plan and implement volunteer training courses.


Job Requirements

What your skills and qualifications are…..                   

  1. High school graduate; Graduate of an accredited college/university preferred.               
  2. Experience in recruitment and management of volunteers preferred.
  3. Must be able to read, write, and carry out directions.                
  4. Excellent administrative abilities and great interpersonal skills.  
  5. Must possess a motor vehicle in good working condition which is available during work hours, with current proof of insurance and a valid Texas driver’s license.
